Biblical Approach to Health

By Doc Weeter | June 3, 2007

Five times in the Old and New Testaments the Bible tells us that the just shall live by faith (Gal. 3:19-20; Hab. 2:4; Rom. 1:17; Gal. 3:11; Heb. 10:38) so it could be important!

Not only that, we are also told that our life comes from the Word of God (Luke 4:4; Prov. 4:20) so the Word is what we need to be putting our faith in for our results.

It’s very important, in order to receive maximum results, that we remember to put corresponding action WITH our faith in whatever physical health challenges we may encounter but that our FAITH remains fixed and stable on the WORD and not on the physical action that we are taking to correct the situation. This can be a difficult thing to do at first because it is easy to connect the physical action with the physical challenge with the physical result and also because that is the way we have been trained our entire lives.

It is very important to activate your faith FIRST when dealing with a physical challenge however because

1. faith is what will permanently make the change necessary to correct the physical challenge

2. faith will under gird your corresponding action and enable you to go through with it even when you don’t feel like it.

This is especially true when dealing with a particularly difficult or serious physical challenge.

Let’s go ahead and see how this process is applied to dealing with this weeks physical challenge of osteoporosis. Click the audio link below and we’ll get started…
